How would you eat, dress or exercise? How would sports played on the Earth be played on the moon? Guided inquiry and products are at the core of this lesson. Students engage and investigate in collaborative groups how the inherent characteristics of the earth and the moon would affect a sport played there.
The student is to invent, under contract from NASA, new sports that astronauts can play on the Moon for exercise.
Grades: 8 - 9
Time: 3 - 5 Days (total in class time), 4 - 5 weeks actual
